Hi!!! I'm Jieyan, a native Chinese speaker and currently living in New Zealand. With years of experience living overseas, I realized that language is such a vital tool for communication and you can explore the world a lot more with a new language. I have over 6 years experience teaching Chinese to students from different backgrounds and proficiency levels, including complete beginners and learners who want to improve their speaking skills and confidence in real-life communication. My taching method is focus on Comprehensive Input(CI), which means helping you acquire Chinese naturally through understandable and meaningful content rather than relying heavily on memorization and complicated grammar explanations. I'll be using lots of pictures, stories and real-life situations to create a fun and interactive learning environment. Learning Chinese is not that difficult as long as you use the right method!
