Bilingual conversational English/Spanish teacher. Engineer, traveler, yoga teacher, and therapeutic companion — I’ll help you speak with ease and without fear. Hi, I’m Polo. Over 9 years ago I left my career as an engineer to travel the world, and along the way English became my bridge for connecting with people from cultures completely different from my own. Today, besides teaching English and Spanish, I’m also a yoga and meditation teacher, and I work in therapeutic accompaniment. That perspective carries into my classes too: I listen more than I talk, and I try to create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, taking risks, and being yourself in another language. I don’t teach grammar drills or textbook exercises. We have real conversations about what interests you and what you actually need: traveling, working, moving abroad, or simply losing your fear of speaking in public. We go at your pace, with no pressure and no judgment. And if at some point you want to talk about how you’re feeling, what’s going on with you, or something that’s weighing on you, there’s room for that here too — sometimes learning a language is also about finding a space to say what you feel. In our first class, tell me who you are and what you’d like to achieve. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t need to know where to start — that’s what I’m here for.
