Hi, I'm Elizabeth Thomas 👋 I'm an English tutor from the Gambia, and I love working with teens because I remember exactly how it felt to be that age — self-conscious about making mistakes, but eager to actually use the language, not just study it. My classes are relaxed but structured. We usually start with a quick warm-up conversation (this is where most of the real learning happens), move into a focused topic — grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, depending on your goals — and end with practice you can actually use that week. No boring drills, no talking at you for 25 minutes straight. What makes me different is patience and energy: I create a space where it's genuinely okay to mess up.
