Hi, I'm April, a native Mandarin speaker based in Beijing, China. I speak standard, clear Mandarin and specialize in helping complete beginners build solid pronunciation and helping intermediate learners correct their accent. 👩‍🏫 I've worked in education for many years — first as a teaching director and later as founder of my own training school — so I know how adults really learn and how to design a course around your needs. Since February 2026, I have received systematic training in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and hold the IMCA International Chinese Teacher Certification (Senior). I have taught foreign students at every HSK level from beginner to advanced, mostly adults — international students and family members of professionals working in China. 🏮 I love traditional Chinese culture, especially Traditional Chinese Medicine, the I Ching and Daoist philosophy.
