Hello! I'm Ana Paola, a Mexican historian interested in the global history of the 16th century. These are my studies: I hold a BA in History from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo and a Master's degree in Mexican History from the same university. My research interests include: conquest and evangelization in New Spain, global history of the 16th century, history of religion, and history of architecture. My interest focuses on the diverse forms of expression that arose from the encounter of two traditions: Mesoamerican and Christian, and their integration, under which the identity of the New World was constructed.
