Hi, I'm Amy! I was born in Japan and have lived in both Japan and the UK, so I've always loved learning about different cultures and meeting people from around the world. I have a BA in Anthropology, a CELTA and a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I also spent a year working as a teaching assistant at a primary school, where I supported children with SEN and students learning English as an additional language. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary or simply feel more comfortable speaking English, I'd love to help! I believe the best way to improve is to have lots of relaxed, interesting conversations where you can make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I'm friendly, patient and happy to adapt lessons to what you want to achieve. Whether you'd like structured lessons or just someone to practise speaking with, we'll find an approach that works for you.
