Hello! I’m Amaju, a UK primary teacher and phonics specialist with QTS, a PGCE, and a Master’s in Education. I currently teach in a mainstream UK school and have experience supporting early readers both in the UK and internationally (including teaching in an international school in China). My lessons are warm, structured and confidence-building. I break reading down into clear, simple steps using proven phonics techniques: blending, segmenting, CVC word reading, sound sorting and early comprehension. I tailor each session to your child’s needs so they feel supported, motivated and proud of their progress. Whether your child is just starting their reading journey or needs extra support to strengthen their decoding skills, my approach is patient, encouraging and effective. I create engaging activities that make learning to read fun — without pressure.
