Hi, I’m Pukun, a bilingual Chinese-English tutor based in Shandong, China. I help both children and adults improve their pronunciation, daily conversation, business Chinese, and speaking confidence step by step. With clear explanations in both Mandarin and fluent English, I make learning Chinese easier and more comfortable for beginners and international students. Whether you want Chinese for work, travel, exams, or everyday life, I’d be happy to help you use it in a practical and natural way.
My lessons are always personalized to your goals and learning style. I teach complete beginners, children, HSK/YCT learners, and adults who need Chinese for communication, work, or daily life. In class, we can practice pronunciation, useful sentence patterns, role-plays, and real-life conversations to help you speak more naturally and confidently. If you need business Chinese, I can also help you with workplace communication, meetings, and client conversations. If you’d like to learn Chinese characters more easily, I can introduce simple memory tips and cultural stories to make learning more interesting.
I hold the TCSOL international Chinese teaching certificate and have 10 years of practical English experience in foreign enterprises, which helps me understand the needs and challenges of international learners. I also have 3 years of experience teaching Chinese to both children and adults. As a senior Toastmasters member and public speaking competition winner, I’m especially passionate about helping students speak Chinese with more confidence. My classes are patient, supportive, and encouraging, and I always want my students to feel relaxed and comfortable in class.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy tennis, badminton, and recently I’ve also started enjoying singing. I believe learning a language becomes much more interesting when it connects with real life and personal interests. If you also enjoy sports or music, we can include those topics in our lessons and learn useful Chinese in a more natural and enjoyable way.
