Hello! My name is Sithabile Mutambirwa, and I am an English tutor with over eight years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching children and adults from a wide range of age groups, backgrounds, and learning levels. My experience includes working in a preschool, primary school, and high school, as well as tutoring adult learners who needed support with academic, conversational, or professional English. I have also successfully helped many students prepare for IELTS tests, guiding them toward achieving the scores they need for study, work, or immigration.
I am passionate about teaching because I truly believe that learning English can open doors, build confidence, and create opportunities. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and student-centred, meaning I always put your needs, goals, and learning preferences first. For older students and adults, I focus on practical, real-life English that you can immediately apply in everyday conversations, work situations, or academic settings. I also provide support with grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and exam preparation.
One of the things my students appreciate most is my patience and encouragement. I understand that learning a language can be challenging, and everyone learns at a different pace. That is why I create a warm, supportive learning environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process. My goal is to help you grow, improve, and gain confidence—step by step.
