Clear instructions, effective time management, and well-paced activities ensure that learners remain focused and comfortable throughout each session. I also make effective use of teaching resources and props, especially in online settings, to maintain engagement and aid understanding. Visual aids, miming, gestures, and contextual examples play a key role in supporting comprehension, particularly for young learners and beginners.
Building rapport with students is central to my teaching approach. I strive to create a calm, friendly, and supportive environment where learners feel safe to make mistakes and express themselves. Error correction is handled gently and constructively, often through reformulation or guided self-correction, so learners improve without losing confidence or motivation.
