To master any subject, a clear concept of the topic is paramount. My lesson style ensures the student has a clear understanding of what is being asked and that they can grow to be confident in solving problems. The structure of each lesson is as follows: Each lesson we start off with a small exercise based off the previous lesson to ensure that the student is confident with that topic. In the main section of the lesson we will go through the new topic content. The style of lessons will vary between students, but in all lessons I encourage conversation related to the topic to broaden understanding. I have found that this is one of the best ways to engage students and see them progress in their confidence. After this, to compound the topic knowledge and information, questions are given to the student to solve, this may be accompanied by extra questions from myself to encourage a problem solving and critical thinking mindset. This helps develop a greater understanding and identifies areas where further assistance is required. Applying maths and physics to real world scenarios is another area I like to encourage. My goal for you as the student is to obtain a solid understanding of the subject that will allow you to retain the information learnt and take your exams with confidence. As I come up to four years of tutoring, I find it extremely rewarding to see students grow, overcome challenges and have fun during their studies. During this time I have learnt different teaching techniques and how to tailor each lesson for each student so you can get the best support you need.

Salut, Moi c'est Guillaume et je suis étudiant à l'école Centrale de Marseille en deuxième année. Je m'oriente vers un cursus "CliMaths" : des maths et de l'informatique (Big Data et Machine Learning) pour comprendre les enjeux climatiques et sociaux du monde de demain. J'effectue en parallèle une alternance chez Schneider Electric où je suis Chef de Projet Junior dans le domaine de l'IoT. Je suis amené à concevoir des outils sur Excel en VBA. J'ai auparavant fait une classe préparatoire MP (maths spé) au Lycée Condorcet à Paris. Je suis donc apte à donner des cours à des élèves de niveau lycée, BTS et classe préparatoire (MP, ECS, BCPST). J'adore les maths dans ses différentes branches et j'adorerais pouvoir vous transmettre cela pour vous voir progresser et atteindre vos objectifs. MÉTHODOLOGIE : En ces temps un peu incertains, j'estime que c'est le parfait moment de se remettre en question, d'apprendre à son rythme, de tester de nouvelles méthodes d’apprentissage

Je privilégie la compréhension du cours en premier lieu, et l'élève ne doit pas hésiter à me faire ré-expliquer autant de fois qu'il le sera nécessaire. Cependant j'attends de lui/elle que le cours soit, sinon su par cœur, au moins assimilé partiellement. Les exercices et devoirs à la maison peuvent tout à fait être travaillés pendant mes cours, ou s'ils ont été fait par l'élève avant, corrigés au cours de la séance. J'essaie de me tenir disponible par mail également si un point n'a pas été compris et doit être clarifié avant le prochain cour
