Hi there! My name is Harsh and I have lived in 5 different countries so far including UK, Belgium, USA, India and Spain. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA and recently moved from London to Barcelona. I have always had a passion for math and have found it helps in developing critical thinking and problem solving skills which are crucial in building confidence and creativity in students (I use math to make music!) I enjoy teaching algebra, geometry, ratio and proportion, probability, trigonometry and much more. I can also help prepare students for 11+, 13+ ,GCSE and IB exams. Ideally what I like to do first is to identify strengths and weaknesses early on and to tailor my lessons accordingly. I will do this by creating a positive learning environment for you where you feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and ask for help. In most cases, a drill and practice approach in combination with real world applications will garner the best results. However I understand that each student is unique so I can utilise a variety of teaching methods to ensure all material is understood and any challenges are overcome. In addition to being a math tutor, I also have a certificate in TEFL. This has enabled me to design my lessons in a way that is more engaging and effective for students of all ages.
