I'm a current university student doing Physics at Warwick University. I studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level, and achieved an A in all 3 subjects, I also achieved 9s in GCSE Maths and Physics. I have experience in mentoring secondary school students and helping them with questions in Maths club support sessions while I was in sixth form. Lessons can be very flexible, either using questions/homework a student may be struggling on, or myself finding relevant content to what they're currently learning in school or college. Can also go through exam practice questions and/or techniques, particularly for GCSE and A-level students. My methods tend to consist of figuring out what a student already knows, or what they can deduce about the question, and then explaining to them the parts they don't understand or are struggling with, but I also personalise my explanations to what each individual best understands. I use diagrams and drawings where relevant, particularly in Physics, and help students find the easiest way to learn and use equations. On topics where students may be particularly struggling, I can discuss with them how I'd typically go about the question, and then give them a similar question to see if they can apply the same methods, helping them through it if needed. Message me for more details about what I can specialise in, including particular learning difficulties. I can also be flexible in prices, particularly for lower income students/families, and those who might not be able to afford the full price for other reasons. I also have mentoring experience, and am often a go-to point for family and friends to ask maths or physics questions. I've been said to be able to explain things in a relatively simple way, such that people can understand, and then apply it to another question, but without losing any of the important information needed :)

Ma méthode d’enseignement repose sur une approche adaptable à chaque élève, en fonction de ses besoins et de son niveau. Dès le début de la séance, je prends le temps d’échanger avec lui pour comprendre ses objectifs : souhaite-il se perfectionner, s’entraîner sur des exercices, préparer un contrôle, ou revoir une notion mal comprise ? Cela me permet de construire un cours ciblé et efficace. Si l’élève a des difficultés sur les exercices, nous travaillons principalement sur des exemples concrets : il tente d’abord de les résoudre seul, puis nous les corrigeons ensemble. Je lui explique alors la méthode attendue, les réflexes à adopter, et les erreurs à éviter. Mon but est qu’il devienne autonome dans sa manière de raisonner. Si au contraire une notion théorique pose problème, je prends le temps de la réexpliquer de manière claire, avec des schémas ou des analogies si nécessaire, avant de passer à l’application. Mes cours s’adressent aux élèves de collège et lycée, quel que soit leur niveau. J’ai déjà accompagné des élèves en grande difficulté comme des élèves souhaitant viser l’excellence. Dans tous les cas, je veille à créer un climat de confiance, pour que l’élève progresse sereinement.
