Hello! My name is Sergei. I am 38 years old, I have a PhD degree and I am an associate professor at one of the oldest universities in the south of Russia. My work experience is more than 11 years. I love teaching people! Every year I give classes to 500-1000 students of different ages from different countries. I believe it is important to start to learn any language as earlier as possible. Russian is the 6th most widely spoken language in the world and is spoken by 260 million people worldwide! I got a Russian Language Centre Moscow State University certificate for teaching Russian as a foreign language. I have a Russian language textbook of my university, which is suitable for different levels. Using songs, games, presentations, cards, posters and many other additional materials makes Russian grammar interesting and easy to learn. I always carefully monitor the student's reaction to the material being studied, give him the opportunity to speak out, and then tactfully correct him if it is neccesary, re-discussing difficult points. During the lesson, we switch to another form of presentation of the material if I see that the student is tired or lacks patience, perseverance. Here, of course, everything depends on the age of the student and his abilities. At the end of the lesson, I explain the homework in detail and give practical examples of the use of the material in various forms, taking into account the goals of language learning, professional skills and other features. I also take into account how much time a student can spend on homework

I use flexible methods and individual approach in my teaching for adults and always make an accent on the student’s needs at the moment. I graduated from Kuban State University as a teacher of Russian language and language (Philologist) and had been intensively trained as an English interpreter. Now I am obtaining TESOL degree in Arisona State Unversity remotely. I am expert in tutoring General and Business English, teaching grammar and vocabulary, speaking and reading skills in context of business situations. I'm not questioning the students' abilities, I'm developing them. 39 satisfied students, ~800 lessons in Skyeng, 4.9 out of 5 ranking among students - these are my main achievements during active teaching for 1 year. —— English was not given to me immediately - for some time we were strangers to each other. University course, advanced training, self-study, tutoring - all this knowledge and experience were useful in 2016, when I began to really use the language: in work, in communication. And this attraction of another language, another mentality moves me further. I never give up!
