Soy Bita y soy cantante, músico y actriz. Desde los 12 años empecé mi formación en Teatro Musical, Lenguaje Musical y Piano y actualmente estoy acabando el último curso del Grado Superior de Música Moderna y Jazz en la Escuela Creativa de Madrid. Tengo formación en Técnica Vocal y Voice Craft y también me gusta impartir a través de mis clases de canto la seguridad y confianza escénica para mejorar la confianza en uno mismo a la hora de actuar. También enseño a mis alumn@s cantantes y que estén interesados en tocar el piano a acompañarles con acordes para poder tocar versiones o sus propias canciones. Mi experiencia en concursos de televisión durante todos estos años me ha enseñado la importancia de como mostrarte único ante el público y siempre me gusta fomentar esa parte en el aprendizaje. Creo en un proceso de aprendizaje individual y personalizado para poder desarrollar tu propia identidad como artista y buscar el factor diferencial entre los demás.

I’ve been working in music for over ten years, both as a teacher and a professional musician. Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2010, I’ve taught piano to people of all ages and abilities — from complete beginners to advanced players — in a mix of styles and settings. As a musician and composer, I was thrilled to be nominated for a BASCA British Composer Award in 2018, and my original projects (The Sorcerers, Johnny Richards & Dave King, Shatner's Bassoon) I have been featured on BBC Radio 2, 3, and 6. Hi, I’m Mevin! I’m a piano and keyboard tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music, majoring in piano, from Christ University. I’m also a Trinity College of London certified pianist, and I’ve been teaching for the past 3 years. Over this time, I’ve had the joy of working with students of all age groups — from young beginners taking their very first steps in music to advanced learners looking to refine their skills. What makes my classes different is the way I structure them. I truly believe every student is unique, so I design my lessons to be student-oriented. Think of it as a balance between what you want to play and what you need to learn to become a well-rounded musician. Each class is divided into four parts to keep things engaging and productive. We start with technical aspects — exercises, scales, and finger techniques that strengthen your playing. Then we move into notation reading, where we explore Western classical pieces that improve sight-reading and help you understand music on the page. The third part is completely student-focused, so we can work on songs or styles you love, or any area you want to develop further. Finally, we end with ear training, which sharpens your ability to recognize melodies, chords, and rhythms by ear — a skill every musician should have. I teach in both English and Malayalam, so you can learn in the language you’re most comfortable with. My aim is always to create a fun, encouraging space where you can feel confident, curious, and inspired to practice. I don’t just want you to learn the piano — I want you to enjoy the process and fall in love with making music. Whether you’re a beginner dreaming of playing your first song or an advanced player looking to polish your performance, I’d love to guide you on your musical journey. With the right balance of structure, creativity, and encouragement, we’ll work together to help you grow as a pianist while having fun along the way.

Especializado en jazz y música moderna, actualmente estudio en la Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). Doy clases online de teoría musical aplicada (armonía moderna, análisis, improvisación) y de piano/teclado, orientadas a que entiendas lo que tocas y lo lleves directamente al instrumento. Cuento con amplia experiencia como intérprete y como profesor. Mis clases están pensadas para: • Estudiantes de conservatorio o escuelas modernas que quieren reforzar armonía, análisis y lenguaje del jazz. • Músicos autodidactas (piano, guitarra, producción) que tocan “de oído” y quieren ordenar conceptos: acordes, escalas, funciones tonales, II–V–I, voicings, reharmonización, etc. • Pianistas y teclistas que quieren mejorar acompañamiento, lectura de cifrado, groove y recursos armónicos para tocar en grupo. Trabajo la teoría siempre aplicada: vemos un concepto y lo llevamos al teclado/piano en el momento, con ejemplos reales (standards de jazz, pop moderno, neo-soul, repertorio que tú escojas). No es memorizamos fórmulas: trataremos de entender por qué funcionan las progresiones y cómo usarlas para improvisar, acompañar y componer. Formato de las clases: • Clases online 1:1, adaptadas a tu nivel y objetivos. • Material propio en PDF (resúmenes, esquemas, ejercicios). • Trabajo práctico sobre repertorio real. • Posibilidad de enfocar las sesiones a refuerzo académico o a objetivos musicales concretos (mejorar voicings, improvisación, acompañamiento). Primera sesión orientada a ver tu nivel y definir un plan de trabajo realista.

Más de 10 años introduciendo a personas de todas las edades al piano y a la música. Las clases se van armando en función a los gustos musicales de los alumnos. Las obras/canciones a tocar son elegidas según los intereses y necesidades de manera personalizada. Si te gusta cantar podemos aprender a acompañarte con el piano. La parte teórica se aplica a lo estudiado con el objetivo de ofrecer las herramientas necesarias para ir generando autonomía. Podemos trabajar en diferentes estilos como el clásico y el popular y músicas argentinas como el tango y el folklore. En mis clases hago hincapié en que mis alumnos disfruten y que encuentren en el instrumento un medio de expresión. No hace falta saber leer música, ni tener conocimientos previos. Soy egresada de la Universidad Católica Argentina en la carrera de Producción musical y composición. Continué perfeccionandome en piano popular, orientación TANGO, en la Escuela de Arte Leopoldo Marechal. Además me dedico a la composición de bandas sonoras para audiovisuales y de producciones contemporáneas.
