Andrew is a retired lecturer in engineering with over 40 years experience in schools and further education colleges. He ran the private tutoring business 'Norwich Tutors' for over 12 years specialising in Mathematics and Physics at GCSE and A-level.
Andrew also worked as a Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations (cie) for 5 years.
He has continued to develop his skills and is now a leader in IOT technologies working with the American Academy in Larnaca to develop a robotics course.
He is also contracted to run electrical engineering health and safety courses at Rolls Royce Aerospace facilities all over the UK and virtual on-line presentations internationally.
Andrew has experience of all the UK examining boards in Math, Physics and Computing.
Teaching methodology is base round the fact that the student has already been exposed to the topic in class but needs extra assistance in achieving a depth of understanding thereby increasing examination grade potential.
The student will initially be given an exercise on the topic requested to evaluate his/her current understanding. Once a starting position is established the student will be nurtured to achieving a higher level of understanding at his/her own pace.
Tutoring Results from 2025 Exam season: 4 out of 4 A-level students obtained a grade A and 2 out of 2 GCSE Maths students obtained a grade 8 (2nd from top)

Come si svolge una lezione?
Le mie lezioni sono strutturate in 4 fasi per rendere l’apprendimento più efficace:
1️⃣ Spiegazione chiara e semplice con esempi pratici.
2️⃣ Creazione di mappe concettuali per visualizzare meglio i concetti.
3️⃣ Esercizi guidati per applicare ciò che hai imparato.
4️⃣ Ripasso e verifica orale, con pause creative se necessario.
Il metodo è flessibile: con i più giovani ci concentriamo su mappe e creatività, mentre con gli studenti di superiori e università ci concentriamo sul ragionamento logico-matematico, sull'impostazione corretta degli esercizi complessi e sulla costruzione di un metodo di studio autonomo
Le lezioni sono rivolte a studenti di medie,superiori e universitari che vogliono migliorare il loro metodo di studio in modo chiaro e ,perché no?!, divertente.

Ho una convinzione profonda: chiunque può essere bravo in matematica o in fisica. Se finora hai avuto difficoltà, il problema non sei tu. Spesso l'insegnamento scolastico standard non riesce ad adattarsi ai tempi e agli stili di apprendimento di ogni singolo studente.
