I am Lucy, an undergraduate Psychology student in UCL , a tutor passionate about helping students thrive and achieve their potential. I intend to focus on students' needs and ensure that they work in an engaging environment that tailors to them.
With recent experience in both A-level and GCSE Chemistry and Maths, I understand the struggle of meeting target grades and great understanding of exams under the new curriculum. In my lessons, I will focus on any weak areas of a particular topic in the subject I would be teaching through any means that work for the student, helping them understand get get through their exams.
Also, I can provide the students with an materials that would cater to their revision outside of tutoring, so they can develop academically in their free time. Resources and materials will be available online and sent to them whenever they need it.

From 2021 to 2023, I had the privilege of privately tutoring children between the ages of 7 and 14 in subjects ranging from English and Science to Mathematics and History. I am a high school graduate taking a gap year before pursuing my bachelor’s degree. During my academic career, I completed 7 Edexcel IGCSEs (English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, and Higher Maths) and 4 CIE A-Levels (Sociology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics), giving me a well-rounded foundation in both the sciences and humanities. This breadth of knowledge allows me to tutor across a wide variety of subjects with ease.
In addition to my academic background, I have actively engaged in public speaking and leadership through my participation in Model United Nations (MUN) events, which has enhanced my communication and presentation skills. Soy química por la UCM, y Doctora en Química Biológica. Fui el quinto mejor expediente, y luego hice el máster de orgánica. Durante mis cinco años de tesis, he dado clases en la facultad también durante dos años y formado a todos los estudiantes que han pasado por el laboratorio.
Mi especialidad es química a cualquier nivel, es decir, que doy desde ESO hasta nivel de máster.
A nivel universitario, puedo dar todas las asignaturas del grado de química, en especial, todas las químicas: Orgánica, Inorgánica, Quifi y Analítica.
En cuanto a nivel escolar, también, doy clases de física y biología desde 3 ESO hasta nivel de segundo de bachillerato.
Además, puedo dar bioquímica y biología para alumnos de carrera.
En cuanto a las clases, prefiero definirme según mis alumnos me han comentado:
Según mis alumnos, soy empática y dinámica. Me gusta que la gente aprenda y disfrute al mismo tiempo. Considero que hay que disfrutar y que las clases particulares son para poder entender lo que se nos atraganta y a la vez que no suponga un calvario. Además, me gusta ayudar a los alumnos y siento lo que ellos viven, porque en su día pasé por ello.
Considero que antes de decantarte por un/a profe, lo mejor es hacer la clase de prueba. así se puede ver si os gusta y estáis contentos, que es tan importante como entender la materia.
Por probar no se pierde nada!

Uso de herramientas informáticas y libros didácticos.
Exámenes periódicos para poder ver el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje.
Considero que una de éstas metodologías incluyen un porcentaje elevado en el aprendizaje.
Espero que éstas propuestas metodológicas contribuyan y satisfagan el interés de muchos.
