Hi there! I'm Adele, an international relations student. I love discovering new cultures and studying new languages, and I hope I can transfer this passion to you. I started my activity as a homework helper when I was 16, so it's been a while since I'm in it, and I love it. During these years, I had the possibility to teach various aspects of the English language to students from elementary school, middle and high school. I try to adapt my method to each student, in a way that I can make him/her feel at ease, and I always try to find new, entertaining ways to teach this beautiful language!
Hey there! I am Maria Chiara and I am happy to help you study Latin and Italian. I have studied intensively Latin for 13 years: I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Classical Literature and a Master's degree in Classical and Oriental Antiquities with full honours; during the same period, I have also attended the IUSS Institute, one of the three major Italian schools of excellence, where I studied Neuroscience and obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees with full honours. I have lived and done research in Munich and Paris, where I currently reside until I will finish my Master 2 at the renowned École Pratique des Hautes Études. I am now specialized in Hittite and Babylonian languages.
I have worked as an intern at the Egyptian Museum in Turin and I have had several teaching experiences, during which I realised how the most effective method of teaching the humanities is to transmit passion and curiosity. Numerous studies in modern psychology and neuropsychology prove that learning in association with positive emotions is easier, faster and longer lasting, with a greater propensity for practical application of the same knowledge. As my main objective is student satisfaction through the delivery of a lesson that is as useful as it is engaging, I like to enrich the content of school texts with small insights and interesting and little-known facts about authors, works and ideas. I prefer to maintain a cheerful and informal tone during the lesson, but I always try to adapt the language to the age and needs of the student, while paying special attention to the lexical and linguistic enrichment of the student. Before starting the new lesson, I also tend to quickly recap the essential points of the previous one, in order to stimulate long-term memorisation, test the effectiveness of the method and elaborate precise learning strategies, finely tuned to the rhythms and personalities of each individual student.

Hi, I'm Eleonora, a young graduated in Modern Literature who is specializing in Italian Studies. I have always tried to make what I love my job, thus also transmitting a little of my passion to the students I meet along the way.
I started tutoring already in high school and I have had experiences with both children and young adults; in this way I've developed good expository skills and the patience necessary to guide those who need help to understand the mechanisms of subjects that can be difficult.
The lessons will be frontal, in a continuous dialogue between student and teacher, in order to fill any previous gaps and prepare for the achievement of the didactic objectives in time.
More practical subjects will require doing exercises with the guidance of the teacher, while for the more theoretical ones the attention will be placed on the care of the oral exposition and the refinement of the study method, in order to develop the skills to carry out the study in total autonomy.

Secchiona di nascita, profia -mio malgrado- di deformazione, ho nutrito da sempre (chissà poi perché) una passione smodata per la mia lingua madre e soprattutto per il latino (tanto da arrivare alla pura follia di comprarmi l'intera saga di Harry Potter in quella lingua (nessuno mi crede, ma giuro che esiste). Per farla breve, dato che nel tempo libero preferisco decisamente insegnare che farmi massaggi drenanti all'acqua di rosa, SE IL LATINO, l'ITALIANO (o la loro grammatica) sono IL VOSTRO TALLONE DI ACHILLE, NON VI RESTA CHE CONTATTARMI.
Ma chi è davvero Lucrezia?
Laureanda in giurisprudenza, Lucrezia ha un'esperienza pluriquinquennale nelle lezioni di latino e di letteratura italiana (considerato che ha 24 anni suonati e che ha iniziato a insegnare quando ne aveva 17, si può ben dire che abbia investito quasi il 25% della vita nel settore).
