Hello my name is Nia and I am from the Wales in the United Kingdom. I have just come back from travelling in South America and I am currently living in Cardiff.
I have extensive tutoring experience in drama and teaching basic Spanish. During Covid, a lot of that tutoring moved online.
After completing my TEFL qualification I am hoping to do some more tutoring around South America.
I trained as an actor at a drama school in London and theatre, literature, music and performance are my passions. I also do some writing and alternative performances in Cardiff.
I am passionate about teaching and helping others develop more opportunities using the English language, I am encouraging, friendly and very supportive.
I graduated my TEFL qualification in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previous to this, I was a tutoring in LAMDA for children and I worked as a drama teacher for Stagecoach, Stageworks and in special Educational Needs schools across the United Kingdom. I also taught basic Spanish online.
I have a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre Arts, an MA in Acting.
My subject expertise is English and Drama. I utilise a lot of my drama games into my teaching in order to make my lessons fun and memorable. My lessons are interactive and energetic.
I specialise in teaching children and teaching adults with little to experience in speaking English. I also offer voice coaching, diction and pronunciation lessons. I am a working actor and I use a lot of my experience in acting to help with my lessons. I also offer one off interview preparation to help you gain confidence and achieve your goals!

Hi! My name is Gabriel, I am a conversation tutor and I am from Patagonia Argentina. I'm a 21 years old Political Science student. In my leisure time, I like watching tv shows, movies and sports, reading, playing basketball and getting to know more about different cultures.
I have been a conversation tutor for a year now. Our lessons will consist of a fluent conversation, with me guiding each lesson, but we can also talk about any of your personal interests. I will correct your mistakes but without affecting the fluency of the conversation. I can also bring you interesting articles or videos, so you practice reading, listening, comprehending besides your speaking abilities. I can also help you with homework and preparation for exams. Intermediate and advanced students only.
In our conversations, I would help you improve your pronunciation, your fluency when speaking and to increase your vocabulary, besides introducing you to Argentinian and Latin American culture and traditions. You will also read or listen to videos so you get better at reading and listening.

Me llamo Yasmina y soy mitad argentina mitad inglesa pero viví toda mi vida en Francia. Amo los idiomas y compartir mi conociemiento. Mi metodo varia dependiendo del alumno y de su objetivo. No sigo solamente un libro, hacemos varios ejercicios y juegos complementando con lo que el alumno necesite.
