Ben Boone/ Author Public speaker— English tutor. For nine years I spoke at various schools and private organizations on topics of mental health. During two and a half years of Covid restrictions I found myself under lockdown unable to communicate with anyone.
So, I went online and used a certificate I worked for while my father was dying in case I ever needed a job while stuck in life.
I also had no access to money while in Spain and limited access to medical treatment or English speaking police. Students contacted me and helped as I helped others in a noble pursuit of emerging from COVID to communicate better —and realize that although life might have no reason— at least we can learn.

Mis clases son evidentemente el aprendizaje de un idioma con sus reglas y exigencias, pero las deseo también como un momento de convivencia, con simplicidad y complementariedad. De hecho, la conversación es la base imprescindible del aprendizaje. Mi trabajo se basa en los temas de la vida de todos los días a través de textos, artículos de prensa, imágenes, videos breves, diálogos y ejercicios. Suelo pedir un trabajo personal al final de cada clase sobre los temas estudiados durante la sesión.
Te propongo una iniciación al idioma, pero también a la cultura española porque ambos son inseparables y complementarios. Sesiones de conversación para ganar en fluidez y aprender las expresiones idiomáticas de la lengua corriente. Por fin, por supuesto, una ayuda a la preparación de exámenes o concursos.

Mi vocación por la enseñanza me empuja hacia los jóvenes para comunicarles la belleza y la importancia de una lengua que será esencial para su futuro. Pero también hacia cualquier persona que necesite, por trabajo o pasión personal, conocer el italiano en mayor o menor grado.
