Soy de un lindo país: ¡La República Dominicana! Me apasiona compartir con otros todo sobre mi cultura, tradiciones, comida, música, etc. Pero también soy bueno escuchando, así que en mí tendrás un tutor interesado en escuchar todo lo que quieras decir sobre ese lindo lugar del que vienes 😁. Mi objetivo es ayudarte a alcanzar la fluidez conversacional. Mis clases son de conversación. Están destinadas a personas que desean tener conversaciones reales, con personas reales en el mundo real 🗣. Entiendo que el lenguaje es de los hablantes, no los hablantes del lenguaje. Por eso, aprender de un libro aburridas reglas gramaticales y complicarnos la vida con exámenes, no es el camino a la fluidez verbal.
Creo firmemente que los idiomas dividen, para que haya paz debemos comprendernos. Por eso me emociona enseñar a otros a entender y darse a entender en el idioma que tanto amo: ¡el español!
Descubrí tanto con las clases que imparto, como con los que yo mismo he tomado, que cuando se es adulto los métodos de estudio no deben ser los tradicionales. He desarrollado un plan de aprendizaje que aborda un tema cada mes. En los últimos 10 o 15 minutos de mis clases de conversación me gusta hacer una pequeña retroalimentación. Aunque estoy muy pendiente de mostrar a mis estudiantes sus progresos, no doy exámenes ni aburridas explicaciones de gramática. Mis clases de conversación son para las personas que quieren entender a los hablantes nativos y hablar en el mundo real sobre las cosas de las que realmente hablan en su vida cotidiana.
Y ahora te cuento un poco de mí. Vengo del área informática como profesión 🤓. Como parte de la labor social de la congregación religiosa a la que pertenezco, imparto clases de la Biblia, enseño a leer y escribir a niños, jóvenes y adultos y lenguaje de señas americano a personas sordas y sus familias. Es con esta última labor -que en realidad empezó siendo todavía muy joven- con la que descubro mi vocación por la enseñanza. Así me empecé a capacitar en la docencia y fui descubriendo un mundo que convivía de forma paralela con mis otras actividades.
Como soy un eterno aprendiz, descubrí los métodos que son mejores para personas muy ocupadas y no tan jóvenes. Realmente me hace muy feliz poder ayudar a otros en ese proceso tan lindo de entender un idioma, dominarlo y perder el miedo a hablarlo.
Si tú lo que quieres es hablar con confianza y entender a los nativos. Si no te gustan los exámenes (que al final solo sirven para decirte cuanto sabes, pero no te ayudan a desarrollar la habilidad de perder el miedo a hablar). Si sientes que puedes entender el español, pero te paralizas y olvidas las palabras cuando las necesitas para comunicarte 🥴. Entonces necesitas reservar una clase de prueba conmigo. Verás que, si utilizas durante todo un mes mi metodología, concentrándote en dominar un tema que te apasione, te convertirás en un "pro" y te sentirás con la confianza suficiente para hablar con otros. ¿Qué esperas? ¡Reserva ya tu primera clase conmigo! ¡Te espero en el aula virtual de Classgap! 🤩
