As a member of a student psychology honours group, I had the chance to participate in a full year of field experience during my fourth year as a student psychologist and psychometric assessor at University of Fort Hare/Khayalethu Special School in East London. Planning, evaluating, and executing engaging courses for a class with a range of needs was my responsibility. I am able to modify my teaching strategies to meet the needs of each individual student. Another ability that is essential to becoming a successful teacher is problem solving. Experience has taught me that there are usually multiple approaches to an issue. I will speak with experts in the subject to acquire fresh perspectives and consult current research if I am unable to resolve a problem utilizing my own resources. I think I have determination and understanding that I can share with my students. I would contribute to the teaching platform and, ultimately, the field.
