My classes are designed to support students in International Baccalaureate (IB) Language A: Literature and MYP Language and Literature with a clear focus on confidence, structure, and personal growth. I understand that IB can feel overwhelming, especially with the unique requirements of assessments such as the Individual Oral (IO), Extended Essay (EE), Higher Level Essay (HLE), and Papers 1 and 2. My goal is to guide students step by step so that they feel prepared, capable, and motivated.
Each lesson is personalized. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement—whether it’s essay organization, analysis of literary and non-literary texts, time management, or developing a strong thesis. From there, I tailor lessons to their needs. Some students need close guidance with structure and writing, while others benefit from advanced discussions that refine critical thinking. In both cases, I provide clear strategies and practical tools that can be applied immediately in their schoolwork.
A typical class balances explanation, practice, and feedback. I break down complex IB requirements into manageable steps, then allow students to apply the skill with a short activity or analysis. I always give constructive feedback that highlights what they are doing well and what can be improved. This balance ensures that students leave the lesson with both confidence and clarity.
For MYP students, my classes emphasize building strong foundations—understanding characterization, theme, figurative language, and how to express ideas in writing. I use engaging activities, relatable examples, and a supportive approach to help younger learners stay motivated and connected to their studies.
I also provide guidance on academic honesty, research skills, and reflective writing, which are essential for IB success. Students working on the Extended Essay or HLE benefit from structured planning, checkpoints, and personalized feedback to stay on track and reduce stress.
Beyond academics, I believe in creating a comfortable and encouraging environment. Many students feel anxious about assessments, so I include short check-ins to help them manage stress and stay motivated. My role is not only to teach but also to mentor—helping students grow in confidence and develop skills that will serve them beyond the IB.
In short, my classes are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s journey. I combine my experience as an IB teacher and supervisor with a warm, student-centered approach to help learners achieve their goals and feel empowered in their IB studies.

Tengo las siguientes certificaciones internacionales: Certificado delf B1 (año 2019) y Dalf C2 (2020). Adémas, soy corrector habilitado de los examenes oficiales DELF et DALF niveles A1,A2,B1,B2. Contando ya con mas de 3 años de experiencia en la creación de clases virtuales y presenciales. Las clases pueden ser dirigidas tanto a niños como adultos desde el nivel básico hasta el nivel intermedio y avanzado, así como el acompañamiento para la nivelación en francés de estudiantes de colegios Bilingües. También se brinda apoyo para preparar exámenes internacionales como el DELF y DALF, Test de Connaissances de Francais (TCF) o TCF - Quebec.
Soy Giovanni Antonio Basciu. Mi pasión por las lenguas extranjeras me llevó a obtener un título en Lenguas y Culturas de Mediación Lingüística en la Universidad de Cagliari. Durante la experiencia universitaria pude optar a una beca ERASMUS+ en España, Universidad de Murcia, donde, gracias a una inmersión total en el idioma español pude alcanzar el nivel C1 DELE, Diploma Español como Lengua Extranjera.
Después de la experiencia en la Uni en Cagliari, me fui a Valencia donde, para mejorar aún más mi español, obtuve un Máster en Estudios Hispánicos Avanzados, colaboré con una escuela privada de italiano y realicé prácticas en una escuela de español, gracias a las cuales he certificado mis habilidades de enseñanza de español / LE.
A lo largo de mi carrera he apoyado a todos los compañeros y alumnos que solicitaban refuerzo en materias lingüísticas.
La impronta que quiero dar a mis clases se basa en el cognitivismo que, gracias a técnicas didácticas centradas en el alumno, te permite conseguir excelentes resultados en un tiempo decididamente corto.
Actualmente me encuentro ocupado en la enseñanza de cursos en una escuela privada ubicada en Cagliari y la continuación de mis estudios para calificarme como maestro.

قبل أن أخطو في هذا الطريق، كنت خائفة.
خائفة من ألا أستطيع إيصال رسالتي كما تستحق أن تُسمع.
لطالما كان تعليم اللغة العربية أكثر من مجرد قواعد أو مفردات؛
لقد كان دومًا رسالة، وحُلمًا، وغايةً متجذّرة في أعماقي.
لقد أظهر لي التعليم شيئًا لم أكن أتوقعه،
أظهر لي من أكون.
علّمني بقدر ما أُعلّم.
يُذكرني كل يوم أن الشغف، والإخلاص، والنية الصادقة
تتحدث بصوت أعلى من الكمال دائمًا.
لا يزال هناك الكثير مما أطمح لتعلّمه، وطريقٌ طويل أمامي،
لكن حلمي يظل ثابتًا:
أن أجعل العربية بيتًا دافئًا لمن يتعلمها،
أن أجعلها ممتعة، حيّة، ومحبوبة من كل متعلّم.
أن أكون لا مجرد معلّمة، بل مرشدة، ومؤمنة بما يمكن أن تفتحه هذه اللغة في الروح.
