Estudié Filología Inglesa y tengo un Máster en Enseñanza de Inglés y Español como LE/L2. Llevo más de tres años trabajando como profesora de inglés, de español para extranjeros y de repaso de lengua castellana y, aunque mi metodología cambia en base a las necesidades de mis estudiantes (si son niños o adolescentes en clase de repaso, si es un curso de empresa o si es alguien que está preparándose para certificar), algo que siempre intento es que mis alumnos se diviertan aprendiendo, ya que así recuerdan mejor lo que adquieren durante las clases. Aunque soy una apasionada de la gramática, siempre intento que mis clases estén enfocadas a la práctica de las cuatro destrezas (hablar, escuchar, leer y escribir), aunque pongo un especial énfasis en las destrezas del habla y la escucha porque siempre son las que más problemas les dan a los alumnos. También me centro mucho en la adquisición de vocabulario porque siempre resulta complicado aprender y recordar tantas palabras, así que tengo actividades preparadas y diversos recursos para ayudar en ello. Todo ello sin olvidar la importancia del contenido cultural porque la lengua está muy ligada a la cultura. Por último, ya que un idioma no se aprende con una hora de clase, siempre envío algo para trabajar después de clase, ya sea una redacción corta, la visualización de un vídeo para trabajar lo visto en clase, la realización de un par de actividades para repasar algo de gramática o la grabación de un vídeo para practicar el habla.
