Hola! Mi nombre es Lygia y soy profesora de portugués e inglés, con más de 10 años de experiencia.
Ofrezco clases de idiomas individuales y personalizadas. Aunque también doy cursos generales, me especializo en clases de Lenguaje para Fines Específicos (LFE).
Esto significa que creo cursos a la medida para quienes tienen un enfoque específico en mente. Ya sea salir de un nivel donde te sientes atorada, prepararte para una entrevista o para migrar, volver a hablar como solías, usar el idioma en el trabajo, platicar con los suegros, viajar, entender tus canciones y libros favoritos, ¡lo que sea! Para algunos estudiantes, esto significa que solo estudiaremos algunos temas. Para otros, aprenderemos todo el idioma desde tu nivel actual, pero con un enfoque particular en ciertos temas.
En portugués, ofrezco clases personalizadas para hablantes de español e inglés, utilizando mi conocimiento de estos idiomas para crear un curso que utiliza los conceptos que ya conoces como atajos y se centra más en los aspectos que pueden resultar más confusos. No tienes que ser un hablante nativo; con que te sientas cómodo conversando conmigo en uno de estos idiomas, es suficiente!
En inglés, tengo dos (sub)especialidades. La primera es apoyar a estudiantes que sienten que no logran salir de su nivel actual, por lo general personas que ya han estudiado, pero no saben cómo avanzar del nivel en el que están a la proficiencia. La segunda es trabajar con personas que quieren desarrollar habilidades necesarias para una vida en inglés (sea porque vas a migrar o porque este es el nivel de proficiencia que deseas). En estos cursos, podemos estudiares desde lo esencial para la supervivencia, como acceder a cuidados médicos y manejar cuestiones de visa, hasta temas relacionados con aspectos a largo plazo de la migración, como construir relaciones y expresar tus emociones y personalidad.
En portugués enseño alumnos de todos los niveles, en inglés solamente alumnos de un nivel intermedio en adelante.
He vivido y trabajado (tanto en línea como en persona) en varios países, como Guatemala, México, Estados Unidos, Brasil, Turquía, Hungría y Sri Lanka.
