¡Hola!
Soy Omar. Llevo toda la vida entre dos idiomas y dos culturas, y eso es justo lo que quiero compartir contigo. Soy un apasionado de los idiomas, nativo de Londres. Viví dos décadas en Southampton y actualmente resido en Barcelona. Estudié filología inglesa y tengo un máster en educación secundaria por la universidad de Barcelona, algo que me ha ayudado a entender el inglés no solo como lengua materna, sino también desde el lado más técnico. Me encanta trabajar la redacción, la gramática, el vocabulario y la pronunciación con mis estudiantes.
Llevo más de 5 años enseñando el inglés y, en ese tiempo, he ido creando mi propio estilo: dinámico, cercano y adaptado a cada persona. Cada estudiante aprende de una forma distinta, así que me gusta ajustar mis clases a lo que mejor funcione contigo.
Todo empezó durante mi máster, dando clases a alumnos de 2º de la ESO en Barcelona, y después seguí con jóvenes de entre 7 a 16 años en Santa Coloma, donde probé la metodología de aprendizaje invertido para que las clase gire en torno a ellos y su participación. Uso tabletas, juegos y otras herramientas interactivas para que aprender no sienta como una obligación, sino como algo que disfrutan.
Estos últimos años también he ayudado a trabajadores de una empresa tecnológica a mejorarse mejor con sus clientes en inglés.
Ahora mismo estoy dando clases en una academia de inglés, tanto a niños como a adultos, ayudándoles preparar los exámenes oficiales de Cambridge (B1-C2).
Además tengo Bachillerato Británico (A-levels), así que puedo ofrecerte una experiencia de inglés auténtico, con toda la cultura y acento que eso conlleva.
Me encanta ayudar tanto a niños como a adultos con sus tareas, mejorar la pronunciación, ampliar vocabulario y sobre todo conseguir que se atrevan a hablar con soltura y confianza.
