Hello! My name is Faith Mwathi, and I’m an enthusiastic English teacher from Kenya. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Literature and a TEFL certification, and I have over three years of experience teaching English online to both children and adults. Over the past few years, I’ve taught students from different countries and backgrounds, including many young learners in Asia, helping them gain confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in English. What makes me different as a teacher is that I focus on creating a positive, interactive, and personalized learning environment. I believe that every student is unique, and I adapt my lessons to match your goals, learning style, and current English level. Whether you’re a beginner learning simple sentences or an advanced learner preparing for interviews or presentations, I will guide you step by step to achieve your goals. In my classes, I like to organize lessons based on your learning objectives. For children, I use fun activities, games, songs, and visual aids to keep the lessons exciting and engaging. For teenagers and adults, I incorporate conversational practice, grammar exercises, reading comprehension, and listening activities to improve fluency and accuracy. I also include interactive exercises such as role-playing, discussions, and real-life scenarios to make learning English practical and enjoyable. One of my priorities as a teacher is to create a comfortable space where students feel confident to speak without fear of making mistakes. I believe mistakes are part of learning, and I always encourage my students to keep trying until they succeed. My classes are well-structured, but they are also flexible. I can adjust the pace and content depending on what you need on that particular day. I also use different online tools and resources to make the lessons more effective and enjoyable. These include worksheets, videos, quizzes, and interactive slides. After each class, I provide constructive feedback and sometimes homework or practice exercises to help you continue improving outside of the lessons.
