My Chinese class will have a framework with 6 steps:
Step 1: Get a basic understanding of Chinese tones
Step 2: Learn about how the Chinese alphabets work and sound (i.e. pīn yīn)
Step 3: Learn how to count in Chinese
Step 4: Learn Chinese vocabulary
Step 5: Memorize conversational phrases
Step 6: Practice reading and writing Chinese characters

1. Pronunciation: how are English words pronounced?
2. Comprehension: what does a text mean?
3. Vocabulary: how to spell words? what do some words mean?
4. Conversation: how to communicate using English?

My name is Andreea. I got a bachelor's degree in Languages for Intercultural and Business Communication, and now I'm getting a master's degree in Languages and Cultures for International Communication and Cooperation.
In the past years I taught to kids, teenagers and also adults. Having studied languages for many years, I know what the struggle of studying a new language means so I'm inclined to customize my way of teaching based on the student's age and aims.
In general, my lessons are divided into 2 parts: one concerning grammar and the other one free conversation, so that we can put into practice what we’ve learned. Of course, besides grammar and vocabulary, I will also help you with your pronunciation.
Concerning young learners, I have a different approach since the teaching process is based on playing. I make the lessons more engaging for example doing educational games🧩📚, and talking about cartoons/video-games so that they can stay focused during the lesson.
