Mi nombre es Andrés Mansilla, soy Bioquímico de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile y actualmente me dedico a la docencia, la investigación, y la divulgación científica, mientras hago un doctorado en Biología Molecular, Celular y Neurociencias en la Universidad de Chile, investigando como las dietas altas en grasas afectan los mecanismos celulares y moleculares del sistema inmunológico. Llevo ocho años impartiendo clases en áreas de las ciencias como la biología, química y sus ramas, a distintos estudiantes de educación media y universitaria. Muchos de mis estudiantes me reconocen inmediatamente por ser una persona joven que le gusta enseñar por pasión y vocación. Mi metodología de enseñanza es en base a la conversación y la ejercitación. En el caso de las bases químicas enseño a través de la matemática con recursos didácticos y esquemas. Los ramos como Biología utilizo formas gráficas y esquemas que faciliten la comprensión visual. Para ello, mis clases comienzan desde una comprensión general de los contenidos (10 minutos), para continuar con la clase planificada (45 minutos) y una ronda final de preguntas (5 minutos). Se entregan recursos adicionales para la enseñanza como guías o PPT con ejercicios. Suelo ocupar muchos recursos visuales y ejercicios estandarizados de evaluaciones desde libros. Acerca de las especificaciones: exijo puntualidad y respeto. En caso de existir demora en la entrada a la clase, se puede postergar y empezar con un tiempo no más allá de diez minutos. Las clases están dirigidas a estudiantes de enseñanza media (desde primero a cuarto medio) y universitaria, en áreas relacionadas a las ciencias básicas y de la salud.
