Hello! I'm Bailey Clark, a PhD student at the University of Surrey. I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bristol and have worked as a Graduate Scientist in industry, where I also helped train newcomers. Additionally, I have experience in using online schooling and tutoring during my GCSEs and A-Levels, which gives me a unique perspective on what teaching methods work within this format. I prioritise building confidence within students, and love using activities which link different topics together to help develop a high level of understanding and application of knowledge. I also believe learning the content is just as important as learning the buzzwords used in the mark scheme to ensure you don't miss any marks! I like to get to know the student and how they learn best, then design lessons around their ability and unique needs. I understand how stressful these exams are, so I hope I can give you the confidence you need to excel!
