Hello! My name is Abdullah Majid, and I’m a Computer Science graduate from IQRA University Islamabad. Difference between a professor and a “Good” tutor : -
So what is the factor which separates a “TUTOR” from your class professor?
Well, the answer is simple, it’s all about personalization. A professor can just read/teach the topic to the class and it's over. But for a good Tutor, it is just one of the many jobs he/she does. There are many things a tutor has to take care of: -
1. See the level of understanding of the subject by the student.
2. See the type of teaching the student prefers/loves.
3. See whether the student has an understanding of all other related subjects which are required for this particular course or not. If not, teach him about all the related stuff, which may be outside of the syllabus, but is extremely useful.
4. See if the student needs any advice on how to study, manage his/her time, what is the best method of study, the importance of the current subject, etc.
5. See if the student has other problems unrelated to academics, which is harming him/her, and guide the student.
So next time you see any tutor, compare his/her abilities on these parameters also.

Soy un programador ejerciendo en el mundo profesional de desarrollo de software hace 10 años. He pasado por diferentes ámbitos a nivel profesional, des de consultorías hasta clientes finales. He trabajado en España y en el estranjero, con lo cuál mi nivel de inglés es bastante bueno.
He cursado dos Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior en diseño de aplicaciones y, además, recientemente he terminado mi grado de ingenieria informatica, para reforzar mi conocimiento.
Me considero una persona empática, que me encanta enseñar a la gente y ver como pasan de odiar una materia como es programación a amarla y ver en ella un posible futuro profesional.
Sé que cada persona es un mundo y cada uno tiene diferentes formas de entender un mismo concepto. Gracias a mis dotes comunicativas y a mi experiencia de trato con el cliente en mis etapas a nivel consultoría, donde estaba focalizado en trabajar codo con codo con clientes que muchas veces no eran del sector de la informática, soy capaz de hacer entender un mismo concepto a diferentes personas, con diferentes niveles de conocimiento y de entornos completamente opuestos.
Creo que actualmente las nuevas generaciones deberían de dedicar unas horas a la semana a empezar a hacer sus pinitos en programación, porque seguramente en un futuro ésta matéria esté cada vez mas presente en los planes de estudios.

Hola, fuí preparador de Algoritmos y Estructuras de Datos y soy estudiante de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, cursando actualmente Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación.
Manejo los lenguajes C/C++, Python, Java, Haskell, Javascript y C#.
Llevo más de dos años impartiendo clases particulares.
Estoy en la capacidad de iniciar a cualquier persona en el mundo de la programación, mi lenguaje de preferencia para esto es C++. Pero, mi objetivo es que el estudiante aprenda la lógica de los algoritmos para que, sin importar el lenguaje, pueda resolver cualquier tipo de problema propuesto o proyecto.
Puedo brindar apoyo a estudiantes universitarios que necesiten un refuerzo en programación, algoritmos y estructuras de datos, tanto a nivel teórico como práctico. Puedo preparar al estudiante para presentar pruebas prácticas y teóricas, presenciales o en línea.
Para aquellos estudiantes que tenga bases sólidas en la materia puedo profundizar en estructuras de datos, eficiencia espacial y temporal, programación dinámica, recursividad, backtracking, entre otros.
Mi IDE de preferencia es Visual Code, pero en el caso de usar Java también puedo manejar NetBeans. Puedo asistir al estudiante en la configuración de las herramientas necesarias para programar, como la instalación de IDEs, compiladores, Python (en cualquier versión), el jdk y el compilador gcc (para C/C++).
