Hello, my name is Oluwapelumi Owoade, I go mostly by Pelumi. I have a bachelors degree in biomedical sciences. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and I was a tutor in the Upbound Tutor TriO program. I focus on core sciences subjects of mathematics, biology, physics and chemistry. I like my classes to be paced and determined based on the need of the student in the moment. I believe regular school courses are very fast paced and most student get left behind while the professors are trying to cover the curriculum for the class. Hi! I'm Rose, a committed and passionate tutor. I earned my Master's Degree in Chemistry and have dedicated the past 18 years to teaching my favorite subject, Chemistry. Holding full international certification and qualification as a lecturer and teacher in Chemistry I specialise and bring valuable experience with AP, IB, A-Level, GCSE/IGCSE and College Chemistry. I have provided online tutoring for over 600 students, primarily from the US and UK, and a few from countries such as Italy, Germany, Singapore, Japan, UAE, and India. Over the past 18 years, I have completed more than 20,000 successful tutoring hours (and still counting).

Throughout the tutoring sessions, I engage students with related questions and frequent quizzes to gauge their understanding and identify any topics that may require revisiting. I actively encourage students to ask questions, fostering a dynamic and participative learning environment.
