To draw inspiration from Boris Vian: music is not a minor task. The miner doesn't sing while he works, and Walt Disney understood this well when he made his dwarfs whistle. The miner blows as he works, so that the coal doesn't enter his mouth or anywhere else. Musical practice is not for miners, and of course it plays a major role in the circumstances that make them feel better, admitting at last that they can breathe.
Pedagogy is not something I do by default.

With an eclectic background, I've been a music lover and musician ever since my father gave me a bottle. I've been nurtured on the sounds of Callas and Verdi's Norma, Michael Jackson and the rough, violent flavors of the most hardcore music.
Today, I'm just a humble teacher in Toulouse, in addition to running a music creation studio.

Tras cerca de 10 años metido en el mundo de la música electrónica , primero como dj, y posteriormente como productor musical, decidí comenzar a trasmitir todos los conocimientos adquiridos.
En el tiempo que llevo dando clases me ha resultado realmente sencillo compartir mi visión de la producción musical, dado que para alcanzar mi punto de vista actual en la materia le he dedicado miles de horas, aunque no han sido problema debido a la gran pasión que siento por la producción.
Para mis clases utilizo Ableton Live, dado que es el DAW que empleo para producir, por lo que si el alumno está interesado en iniciarse en la producción musical, tendría que ser éste el software a utilizar; En caso de que se quieran cursar clases más avanzadas (de mezcla, composición, diseño sonoro...) utilizando otro DAW del que el alumno sepa hacer uso, también podríamos hacerlo, ya que en esencia todos disponen de herramientas muy parecidas.
Como he mencionado anteriormente, estoy especializado en música electrónica, por lo que las clases de composición de nivel avanzado serán de este estilo, aunque también ofrezco clases de composición de nivel medio de otros estilos.
Lo ideal sería dar una o dos sesiones de 2 o 3 horas por semama, para así dejar tiempo a que el alumno practique por su cuenta, que es lo que realmente le hará afianzar los conocimientos..

I have many years experience teaching all ages and abilities, both privately and in a music-school setting. I have also lead music production workshops and lectures, and have experience in leading pre-school music workshops.
Music Tech and Music Production
I am an electronic music producer and DJ, releasing music with London's Houndstooth Records as 'Wordcolour'. My own music ranges from ambient to more club-focussed sounds, and has an emphasis on sonic detail and striking sound design. As Wordcolour, FACT magazine described me as “one of the UK’s brightest new club producers”. I have also created music and sound design for commercial clients including Google, as well as for various fine-art projects. I offer lessons which range from beginner introductions to Ableton, to advanced mixing and producing. I have been playing and improvising on the piano since I was a child, and the keyboard has always been my first love for composition, improvisation, and musical performance. I studied music composition at degree level, and have written music for theatre, TV and visual art. My compositions have been used on television around the world, and on UK networks such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
I teach music theory and composition from beginner to advanced levels, as well as the GCSE and A Level syllabus. Whether you want to write a pop song, a techno track, or a string quartet, I'll support your learning. I'm passionate about music-writing, and I love the challenge of helping my students find their own voice in whatever style they work in.

I mainly work in Pro Tools or Ableton Live. Whilst most of the principles I teach are universal, I have found that sessions work better when we are speaking the same DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) language. That being said I have had fruitful teaching experiences with tutees working in Logic, FL Studio etc.
I primarily use Zoom along with screen sharing and real-time audio streaming software.
