About me

Raised in between french and american culture, I have perfect knowledge of both languages and thanks to my licence degree in modern literature, I have good knowledge of both french and english literature. I've given personal lessons to some of my classmates during my studies, so I have some experience of teaching. I am a patient person and I am disposed to teach both children and adults wishing to acquire of reaffirm basic notions of french. My teaching method is personalised in accordance to each student's age, level and expectations, but it generally includes firstly a formal strengthening of one's basic skills, and then a progression according to the student's interests in a fun manner. For example, if the student particularly likes movies, I'll recommend watching french movies in their original version, and then offer to work on the movie's cultural aspects.

Sur le 1/4 d'heure que j'ai passé avec Serena, elle est une personne agréable, à l'écoute de tout ce que je lui ai expliqué et ce que j'attends pour ma progression en Anglais. J'ai commencé une formation d'Anglais depuis 9 mois avec un autre organisme avec qui je ne veux plus travailler (Changement de concept d'apprentissage qui ne me convient pas). Je lui est fait part de mes attentes dans le cas ou nous serions amenés à travailler ensemble. En résumé, pour un premier contact, il fût bon et je pense que d'ici un mois (fin de mon actuel programme), je contacterai à nouveau Serena pour convenir d'une vraie leçon d'un heure qui devrait être suivie de plusieurs moi. Mon épouse suit la même formation que moi, si je suis satisfait dans le temps, elle deviendra aussi une élève de Serena. A la lecture, ce qui m'a plu dans son profil c'est le fait qu'elle ait une véritable culture Franco/Américaine car je souhaite plus acquérir les termes/expressions et accent américain qu'Anglais.

Yes, you can cancel booking up to 8 hours before the lesson starts, indicating the reason for the cancellation. We will study each case personally to carry out the refund.

• How do I pay for the lesson?
