Your classes will be conversational, interesting, and fun! They will combine learning about current events, science, technology, sports - or whatever you are passionate about - with the vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and speaking practice you normally find in an English lesson. They will not only help you learn WHAT to say but also HOW to say it so that you will be able to communicate your message in the clearest way possible. They will also include games and activities to help you learn everyday language in a fun way.
To help you improve your fluency in real-time, I will type what you say while you speak and offer you feedback (corrections and suggestions) as we go. That way, you will be able to see the difference between what you said and what you could have said. You will have a record of the conversation at the end of class.
We will use materials that are current, relevant, and tailored to your interests (newspaper and magazine articles, blogs, videos, and podcast clips). I include speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities (as desired). I can also offer you grammar-based practice questions and homework activities to do in between classes.

I am a Canadian native English speaker with:
- a Bachelor of Commerce in International Management from the University of Ottawa in Canada
- a TESOL certificate (120h)
- nearly 10 years of English language teaching experience, mostly online
