I have a master's degree in Applied Linguistics with emphasis in Spanish as a Foreign Language and 2 years of experience in language teaching..The languages I speak and teach are: spanish, english, french and german. My methodology is based on the communicative approach. I see languages as a means to do something, a means to achieve something. Because of that, it's a priority in my courses to know what exactly the learner wants to achieve with the target language. Do they need it for work? for tourism? to read literature? to communicate with specific people? However, my methodology is open to both modern and traditional techniques, because I have found that almost everything can be useful depending on the context. I also help my students to somehow make the target language a part of their lives. That's how I have learned the languages I speak. When you are able to link the language you're learning with the things you love to do, the learning process will be faster, more effective and more enjoyable. The materials I use are authentic or adaptations of authentic materials. I prefer to prepare my students for the real use of the language, and what traditional texts sometimes show it's not what you'd find in the real world. I enjoy teaching because I love sharing knowledge with people and because teaching is in a way another form of learning
