Hi My name is Jacquelyne and if you are looking to learn in a dynamic way with a very friendly teacher, you have come to the right place! I love meeting new people, hearing about different cultures and everyday life in other countries, so I will be happy to hear about your day today and about interesting things in your country! I love teaching and learning languages, I am currently learning English (I am intermediate level) and so I know that this can be a challenge sometimes! So I am a very patient and friendly professional. I am graduated in education and have a postgraduate degree in Entrepreneurship, so I can also help you with professional and formal vocabulary. I have eight years of experience and I have taught classes for people of many different ages, from children to the elderly.I have also worked with all levels, from people who do not speak at all and need to start learning the alphabet and say "Oi". Even people who speak fluently and just want to maintain a conversation routine so they don't forget their language. You can opt for conversation classes or grammar classes or a mix of the two. During my classes I like to use resources such as: videos, texts, images, exercises. The main focus of my classes is comprehension and oral production. And for that I use a very simple and effective method: teaching how to teach a child. When we are children we learn to listen first, then to speak and finally we work on writing. This makes the classes less tiring and more effective because I adapt this method to a more adult format and the class does not have a children's format (unless it is for a child).
