Hello! My name is Astrid, and I am a passionate, professional English tutor from South Africa with several years of teaching experience working with students of all ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and have extensive experience helping learners improve their conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and overall confidence in using the language. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each individual's goals, learning style, and pace. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and student-centered. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your business English, practicing everyday conversation, or building confidence for travel and work opportunities, I will create a supportive environment where you can learn comfortably and effectively. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, creative writing, graphic design, photography, and learning about different cultures.
