My name is Elena. I live in the Russian city Ryazan and am a native speaker of the Russian language. I have been working as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language at the university for 17 years. I adore Russian and love to share my knowledge with people who wants to learn it. I am a calm person and I really like to joke. I graduated from the Pedagogical University in 2003 and have completed my postgraduate studies in philology in 2019. I have also repeatedly improved my qualifications as a teacher. Hi! I am an international foreign language coach. Almost from birth, my parents immersed me in a foreign environment, which globally affected my fate and life path. When I was three years old, my parents went to Mongolia and we lived there for six years. Already there I created my own children's foreign language. I was very proud that my parents did not understand this language and I could freely speak it with my toys. I'm originally from an industrial city of Russia, Cherepovets. This city has a well-known steel factory, where expats came from all over the world. My teaching of Russian as a foreign language began for them. Then I travelled to different countries of the world and found students there. In 2010, I moved to Finland through my studies and my teaching of the Russian language smoothly switched to online classes. My lesson starts with a short warming-up. After, we do exercises. In my lesson, I talk maximum of 10 minutes, if there's a new topic. In the end, we learn new words, watch videos or sing:) If needed, I use other support languages. - I use individual teaching methods ("step-by-step"/ "animation together") - I do online classes with the newest online platforms (+online whiteboard) - Students can practice the language in different spheres: pronunciation, grammar, conversational topics, home and online reading, listening, writing - I create courses based on the most famous official textbooks' publications (you don't need to buy them!) Now I still live in Finland and help everyone who needs it as a language in a family, as a hobby, or even for work with the Russian language.
